Cycron is the only 'true secondary' in the game, as in it can't be used as your primary dps. I use it with a sobek with the reload-on-weapon-swap mod or with a strong quick melee. Ideally, a riven that gave you weapon swap speed would be great, but since that can't happen you'll want to settle for damage and perhaps reload speed. Share.

The Cycron, however, is better for pure damage as a secondary, having inate fire damage. You can easily get heat/viral or heat/corrosive damage for whatever you need it to do. Also, the cycron has a recharging battery rather than a reload, which is a love/hate for a lot of players.
