Pyro gives you access to strong fire and dark spells more so than fth or int by themselves due to how dark scaling works. I've only have a little bit of each DLC to finish off, with the Frigid Outskirts, Burnt Ivory King, the Gank Squad, and the Blue Smelter Demon., Any build can use pyromancy because it doesn't need any stat investment, just upgrade the pyro flame. Any kind of magic user would benefit from rescuing Dusk asap for her Crown, it boosts all types of spells. Pyro users should also rescue Griggs asap for the Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring which boost sorceries and pyromancies.
