#1 · Aug 20, 2012. I have a 2002 GMC 3500 4x4 6.6 turbo diesel that is having the injectors replaced. The diesel shop is also doing the oil. I asked what oil they use and they said semi synthetic made by Conoco Phillips. This sounds similar to Rotella which I have been told stinks.
