Hcg levels are not a very good indicator of multiples. Some women have levels very high and have a singleton. My first beta was 809. It more than doubled in 2 days. I was told that my numbers were in the normal range for my gestation period. My levels never went higher than the average singleton pregnancy. I had triplets.
