Join Date: Jan 2012. Posts: 128. Rough Interstate Highways (I-40) Recently took a quick trip from Denver to Sacramento. I've used the I-40 route several times. The road condition between Flagstaff and the California state line were in terrible condition. There were many sections that were practically impassable in the right lane.
