Dec 26, 2023 · Shut off the power supply to the furnace and close the gas valve. Remove the outer cover panel using the push or twist lock, a screwdriver, or socket wrench depending on your model. Locate the limit switch on the side of your furnace’s housing and remove the connecting wires. Unscrew to remove the limit switch.
