This is something that's pretty highly debated. While getting extra damage die from runes isn't a typed damage, a lot of people do think it counts as an item bonus. Keep in mind that weapons only get up to 4 damage dice, and most wild shape forms also go up to four damage dice. Wild shape going up to seven would probably be pretty op. 7. [deleted]
