Since then things have gone totally south. I haven't subsequently been able to get the satellite to connect to the router. I've upgraded both via tftp to the latest releases, and still can't get the satellite to connect to the router., Rbr50 was a good mesh set but unfortunately I outgrew it once my home turned into a smartphone. If you want some good power an average user can handle go to UniFi. I've got the RBR50 and two satellites. Had an outdoor satellite that failed in less than a year. Got a shrink wrapped replacement sitting in my office., I have the RBK50 router with one satellite. This is not enough to cover my house (lots of concrete). I would like to buy a Orbi RBK53S set and use my previous RBK50 + satellite both as satellites of the RBK53S. Is this possible and how can I make this work?
