SAN …The Spanish village art centre is a charming location in San Diego located near the zoo. It was built in 1935 and looks like a small Spanish village in the middle of California. The village was established by the local artisans to display their beautiful works of art and though taken over during world war 2 was once again reclaimed by the artists. The Spanish Village Art Center is worth a visit while in Balboa Park. We were here a bit early before 11am, so some of the shops were not open yet, but we were still able to peruse a few of the galleries.
