Best doom wads of all time

These all make up my everyday Dooming experience these days. All add something fresh but none take away from the core experience and I'm so grateful to have them to play with. EDIT: Having just played through Doom 2, Map02, I'm embarrassed to say that I forgot all about the beauty of njsplash. What a difference that thing makes!

Some of my favorites are: Back to Saturn X, Golden Souls (am hyped for the sequel~), Castlevania: Simons Destiny and Going Down. There are far too much good wads, so giving an exhaustive list is impossible. If you want something easier, you might look into the two Final Doom wads, plutonia and tnt. These are dickish, but not as hard as the ones I mentioned.
